After a snowstorm delay, on the Monday before Thanksgiving, 3rd graders and their families enjoyed a feast of thanks! The annual tradition, organized by the 3rd grade teachers, is an opportunity for the students to invite their parents into the classroom and share a hot lunch with them. A delicious feast complete with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and corn bread was served buffet style in the cafeteria. Many thanks to Mr. Cunzio, Mrs. Outhouse and the many teachers and staff who helped dish out hundreds of meals. After lunch parents visited the classroom where students entertained them with the ABCs of Thanksgiving and then enjoyed some sweets together. It's a wonderful tradition that marks the start of the holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving!
