Superintendent for the Day

The day started off bright and early with some meetings in the superintendent’s office and in the district office conference room. She then visited some classrooms and met with principals. Brooke and Dr. G had pizza for lunch and spent the afternoon planning a student writing fellows program for next year. She also met with our business official, Margaret Modugno, for some important discussions on finances and facilities planning projects. Rumor has it she also stopped by her own classroom and, using her authority as superintendent, canceled the homework for this evening. She closed out the day by drafting a board of education report which she will deliver at this evening’s meeting with Dr. G. We love this annual tradition and are grateful to the Mount Pleasant Education Foundation for making it happen each year. Tune in later to see Brooke in action at the Board of Education meeting.
