For the 9th time, local veterans were honored by Columbus Elementary School’s Take a Vet to School Day. The History Channel created this initiative, and this year over 50 veterans had the opportunity to meet with students and teach them about the true significance of the day.
Principal Mike Cunzio said, "As a class I will remember you as being responsible, reflective, empathic, open-minded, and resilient. Those are all the tools you will need for your educational journey and your life.”

The Technology Committee whose members span K-12 across buildings have worked together to determine how technology is being used to support student learning and where there are gaps.
