5th Grade Celebration of Learning
Fifth grade students at Columbus Elementary proudly displayed their scientific research at the 5th Grade Celebration of Learning evening on March 9th.
Students worked in pairs outside of class from start to finish to complete a scientific experiment. They had to define the problem, research the problem, make a hypothesis (predict an outcome), perform experiments, document their findings and form a conclusion. They also had to create a display to share their findings with teachers, parents and other students.
It's a fun and educational way for students to get hands on experience in the exciting world of science.
