A detailed presentation of the Non-Instructional budget will be held on Wednesday, March 10 and the Instructional Budget details on Wednesday, March 24. Both programs will be held in the WMS/HS library at 8 pm. All are encouraged to attend.

Janet Matthews Publishes Travel Experience. Westlake English teacher Janet Matthews is passionate about using travel to help authenticate her literature lessons. Her trip to Tunisia last summer added a new depth to her lessons on The Odyssey for her classes this year. She wrote about her travel experience and its impact on her students for the February 4 issue of New York Teacher, a trade publication for educators. A consummate professional, Ms. Matthews is a past recipient of a Fulbright scholarship and a nationally certified teacher, having earned the honor in 2004 from the National Board for Professional Teaching.
